Review the Twister Shoes

Twister Shoes

Thanks to its tilting rear heel, the shoe can be completely opened as though it was an open slipper, thus allowing the foot to slip easily into place.

The TWISTER’s clever BOA lacing system then closes the tilting heel and adjusts the shoe to fit the foot perfectly.

This means there are no pressure points on the instep which are commonplace with laces and velcro, whilst the simplicity of the BOA lacing system, means that the shoe can be fitted and laced with just one hand.

User Reviews

I have given 2 stars for the innovative design. My son has cerebral palsy and I opted to have the ‘harder wearing’ sole as he slightly scuffs his right foot when he walks. His normal trainers (which he’s gone back to) last approx 6 months and cost less than £30. The Twisters cost almost £130 and lasted 3 weeks before they wore through which means they are really not fit for purpose. The purchase ended up being nothing more than an expensive experiment.
