My son has global development delay with severe hypermobility unable to crawl or stand or walk hes just turned 3 all i say what a fantastic item , he loved it , we were lucky enough to borrow this from his nursery for a week for a trial , what a massive change to his confidence , independance and mobility , he took to this within days was able to independantly monervure around preschool and home within days with ease , i didnt want to give it back as he now asks for his wheels will invest in one asap , could benefit from a detachable parent handle or a carry strap for transportation for 5*

Sometimes a piece of kit comes along and you marvel that no-one thought of it before! Brilliant little piece of kit, although my son can’t support his own bodyweight in sitting, he can and does lie on his scooot and pushes himself along. Its so good, his school now use it in his physio sessions to encourage him to push with his legs! Only problem for us is that the back support isn’t high enough to support him in sitting position, would love it if a higher one could be developed…

An excellent little piece of equipment! Brielle loves it and can play with her sisters, move about with ease independently and finds it very comfortable! Only thing I would like is casters more suited to outdoor/rugged terrain, as she likes to explore outdoors smile

We love our scooot, & the only reason I’ve given four stars rather than five is it’s just not quite supportive enough for Hadley. But, we had it adapted slightly by REMAP (charity) and it’s been wonderful & really helped Hadley learn to self-propel. The first day he wheeled himself to see me in the kitchen I cried! A real breakthrough. I’d recommend it to anyone, even if you think it’s not quite supportive enough, it’s worth trying & adapting. We added some lateral supports & had to angle the footplate to suit Hadley’s condition as he finds long sitting v hard & needed to flex at the knee.
