With the rise of athleisure, women are embracing the athletic look, even if they aren’t working out. It's comfy, casual, super cute. With lots of big sports brands turning their products into everyday looks, it's a trend which is set to stay.

Sporty tailored trousers have become one of my new favourite staples for my wardrobe.

These lightweight grey trousers from Primark (£15) have been a great investment piece for me, they go with almost anything, and they fit in with my workwear and casual wear.

Here I’ve paired them with my loose vest and leather jacket. I wanted to show you how easy it can be to just mix up cool gym gear with such classic staples.

I’ve added this metallic backpack from Primark (£10) to give the look a cool, modern edge.

Metallic accessories make such an impact to an outfit but are the perfect neutral tones to fit in with so much of your wardrobe.

They make a great statement and look a bit more edgy, which personally I love.

The leather jacket again elevates this look and creates a youthful vibe.

Skinny jeans and a sporty tee perfectly compliment this classic camel coat and make an easy, cool transitional look.

These ripped at the knee jeggings from Zara (£19.99) are super high waisted and comfortable, perfect for busy active days.

Tucking in a little white tee creates long legs and a cinched in waist. I love the Adidas t-shirt (£22) to give the look that youthful sporty edge.

Adding the bright blue bag (Mango £29.99) completely lifts this look and gives it a high fashion finish. I love adding bright bags to my outfits to lift them.  It’s a great way to make a plain outfit a little more exciting without any extra effort.

Finishing the look with my trusty white sneakers keeps it clean, classic and comfortable.

There you have it! A mix of wardrobe staples which can easily transition you from spin to shopping. Keep your eyes peeled for my next blog tomorrow, where I'll be showing you how to rock this laid back look with a the never goes out of date leather jacket.
