The Max Card is designed to make days out more financially accessible for foster families and families of children with additional needs living in the UK.

The Max Card is a discount card for foster families and families of children with additional needs.

It works with almost 200 local authorities and selected charities to provide the cards to local eligible families.

However, they are keen to hear from you if your local authority or council is not listed on the partners section, or if you know a charity who would be happy to help or work with them.

If you cannot find your local authority on the list of distributing authorities then they do not currently distribute Max Cards.

Order a Max Card

To order your Max Card contact your local city council. They will be able to tell you if you qualify for a Max Card.

Or if you aren’t sure who to get in touch with then email Max Card and they’ll point you in the right direction.

How to use your Max Card

You simply show your Max Card upon entry to a venue in order to obtain free or discounted admission.

The scheme is designed to help families save money on great days out at castles, zoos, bowling alleys and more.

To plan a day out use the ‘Browse Attractions’ section of the website to see the participating venues in your region or the region you are planning to visit.
